Honey Banana PDRN Hydrogel Mask

If you are curious about my “larger nose length” title, I’ve used a lot of masks and very often the Korean masks are cut for Korean-sized faces and the masks tend to run a little smaller with a shorter nose length. (Is it just me that’s noticed this? Do I just have a larger than average face?) This mask has a more generous cut and a longer nose length so I can both tuck it into the dip at the bridge of my nose and still have it cover my entire nose (and then some) LOVE the larger cut! I want as much of my face to be covered in the mask goodness while I sleep.This was comfortable to wear all night and felt nice and cool. It’s unscented which I prefer although I actually wouldn’t mind if it had a little natural banana fragrance! It wasn’t dripping with serum but it was sufficiently saturated. It includes the mouth and eye cutouts which I use to fill in the gaps around my nose and I put one over my lips. I woke up with glass skin. I usually wear a gel moisturizer before a hydrocolloid mask but I didn’t this time and my face still felt moisturized and glowy, probably not quite as much as when I add more but still sufficient.I like these masks and I’d definitely look into more of their products because I’m curious about the banana PDRN.

I'm reviewing the MUMUKI Honey Banana BDRN Hydrogel Masks. I love anything banana scented, so I was very excited to try these. The back of the packaging is not in English, but I was able to look up the ingredients on the Amazon listing. They are made of high quality ingredients, which I appreciate.These are not 10 minute masks, rather, they are intended for overnight use, or for wearing for a few hours during the day. I was impressed by how the masks stayed on my face. They are extremely thick, and have a gel-like texture. Once dried, the texture changes to being almost paper-like.My skin felt refreshed and softer in the morning, so I highly recommend. They are a little more expensive but you get what you pay for.

It stays in place far better than a traditional sheet mask and is packed with serum. I followed the instructions and left it on until it became almost transparent.The results genuinely surprised me. When I removed the mask, my skin looked noticeably plumper, smoother, and more hydrated. The fine dehydration lines across my forehead were dramatically softened, and my skin had a healthy, bouncy appearance that made it look more youthful. These honey banana masks are great. I definitely make your face feel moisturized and replenished. That's funny, though I don't know how they do it but it is very sticky, like it leaves a very long strand of gooeyness. Once you lather it on your face, the mask stays on pretty well. It doesn't have any scent to it. I wasn't able to read the directions because it's not in english.But I get the gist of how to use it. You can use tools to translate it if needed. I like having spa days on the weekends, and these are perfect for that.

First of all, normally I would take a star off for the price, cause I think the current price at $25 is a bit much for just 5 masks, but this one is probably worth it. Of course it's not for daily use at this price, but it's a nice luxurious spa treatment you can gift to yourself.The masks weren't the thinner kind that tear right out of the package, they're thoroughly moist, not like some other ones I tried. You can keep them on your face for a few hours, even though it says up to an hour, but because this one doesn't dry out, your face is moisturized as long as you have it on. I just wouldn't recommend sleeping in it, cause it's still pushing it to keep it on for longer than 2-3 hours, but once you take it off, your skin will be hydrated, and I couldn't believe that I didn't need to moisturize afterwards. And I have mature skin that is somewhat on the dry side, I always have to apply a moisturizer after hydrogel masks. So I'm giving it five stars for the quality, and I wish they were slightly cheaper because I'd like to be buying them more frequently. But really, can't complain.Even though it didn't get the highest score on Yuka app, I still don't see anything that will bother me significantly on the list of their flagged ingredients. It also doesn't have fragrance, not in the ingredients, and I couldn't smell anything on the mask. So will work for sensitive skin as well.

I received this honey banana PD RN hydrogel mask.This is a five pack of individual wrapped gel like facemasks. They come into pieces so you can adjust easier to the contour of your face. I did find that they were a bit big on the bottom section, so I tried to get it to stick to the underside of my chin. There is a slight scent which is banana and even slightly tropical. I actually thought the scent was quite pleasant.The instructions don’t specify how long to leave it on. It has to leave it on until it turns clear. I found that this mask stayed on my face while and I was able to still work. I also tried it at night and wore it in bed, though not overnight. It left a cooling feeling on my face and afterwards I felt my skin was refreshed. There isn’t a ton of serum left on your face after removal and it was easy enough to pat in.Overall, I like how this left my skin feeling, and I could recommend this product.

The mask does exactly as it says: firming and plumping. After a long day of work, this mask is the perfect way to end the night.

Since the ingredients are locked into the hydrogel mask and require your skin's warmth to slowly unlock the ingredients, it can take well over 2 hours for the mask to turn clear and the listing even seems to indicate these are masks to wear overnight. So don't expect these to be just a 10-30 minute affair.The hydrogel mask clings to your face for a long time, but I've found that since it's thicker, it doesn't quite hug your face as closely as a cellulose sheet mask does, so you may notice a gap at the bridge of your nose for example. The hydrogel mask however works to really seal in all the ingredients whereas other sheet masks ingredients may evaporate into the air.I like these masks. They don't have a noticeable fragrance. They stay put on your face. They have excellent ingredients. They are priced currently at $26 which is what you'd expect to pay for premium K-Beauty masks.

These are so hydrating! They make my skin feel so refreshed and I love that these don’t slip off and stay on securely while I’m doing other things around the house. (Who can sit down and do nothing for 30 minutes haha)
