I'm fairly impressed by MUMUKI's Honey Banana BDRN Capsule Ampoule. Some context for my review: I'm in my early 50s and have dry, sensitive skin. I also have mild rosacea. As a result, I try to avoid fragrance--whether artificial or natural--in my skincare products, because fragrance is an irritant that can cause a rosacea flare. I also seek to avoid other potential irritants.Given my sensitives, I was very happy to see this ampoule's ingredient list. It is free of fragrance and other irritants, and this serum is packed with many beneficial ingredients, including multiple peptides, propanediol, centella asiatica extract, niacinamide, and panthenol, among others. This serum is very hydrating and soothing, which is exactly what my skin needs. Many of the ingredients also offer anti-aging benefits, so this is a great choice for those of us who are dealing with the skin dryness that comes with middle age.I did a patch test of this ampoule on my forearm for a few days before testing it on my face, and I have never experienced any redness, itchiness, or sensitivity. It's definitely gentle. I found it to be easy to apply, as it spreads over the skin nicely. It didn't take much product for me to apply to my entire face.The two drawbacks I noticed: one, the consistency of the product is rather stringy; there is a lot of "pull" when squeezing the product from the dropper and even applying it to the face. Two, this product has a sticky finish. It's kind of odd, because I don't really think it feels all that sticky when I apply it, but after it dries, it feels sticky. That sticky feeling does not go away, which I don't really care for. I am still using the product because there is so much I like about this serum otherwise, but I could really do without the stickiness.
